Money raised by UT Dallas walking teams will be used toward suicide prevention efforts in North Texas, to raise awareness about mental health resources, and to create unity among the Comet family and local communities. There’s no fee or fundraising requirement to attend. Fundraising, if you choose to do so, can continue until May 29, one month past the walk date. The UTD walk is planned for Saturday, April 29, 10:30 a.m.-noon beginning on the SU Mall/Plinth. To join the Student Affairs team, visit the AFSP website, select “Register Now” and enter your contact information. Next select “Join a Team” and search for UT Dallas Student Affairs.
