Professional Development

• March 3: Travel grant recipient Ryan Wasilewski, University Housing residential life coordinator, presents “Creating Change: LGBTQ+ Future Building for Campus and Beyond,” 11 a.m., SSA 14.245. The presentation follows Wasilewski’s participation in the “Creating Change” conference in February, which examined the holistic experiences of LGBTQ persons, from housing and healthcare to activism and basic human rights.
• Staff are encouraged to apply for the Student Affairs Travel Grant. This professional development grant was designed to provide travel opportunities for those who wish to learn more about other functional areas in student affairs that are outside of their current unit or field. Military and Veteran Center

• Feb. 28 & March 2: Staff and faculty Green Zone training. Learn about the transition from military to college and civilian life and how to support military-connected students, 10 a.m.-noon, SSA 14.245. Two-part series; must complete both sessions.
• Innovation & Entrepreneurship Lunch Speaker Series, noon-1:30 p.m., March 6, 27 and April 19.
