Our prototypes are now completed and are ready to be delivered at the Expo on May 9! It has been a long journey for us and we are finally excited to show off our work. STEM Kids hope that with these kits, a new passion for education and STEM will emerge from children in Kids-U. We cannot wait to see you at the Expo!

We are now working on certain projects to see how compatible they will be for kids, as well as to acquire measurements and make a descent list of instructions for activities. Click the video below to see our marshmallow catapult in progress!!
Now having created a rough outline of activities, we are now in budget planning for each of our kits.
We are estimating they will cost around $100 each, assuming they can be used 6 times through the duration of the 6 weeks, and are analyzing the specifics so that we have a final price for each of the kits.
We hope to make this a reliable and affordable process, as we know that funding is important. Budget construction has begun! We will have this completed by the time we present.
We are now getting ready to present our project and show off our amazing team work! We have worked hard to create our STEM-themed weekly kits and have outlined a curriculum for Kids-U to use! We have also created a budget for every one of our weeks, and are getting ready to present. We hope to show the passion we have for this project and explain just how our solution will provide an excellent result for Kids-U.
Thanks for all the hard work STEM Kids, and many thanks for the EPICS Faculty and Staff for help and support so far!
We just recently had our site visit and were blown away by what an amazing program Kids-U has. We learned a lot about what the kids do, what they like, and even the room and supplies they use to give us a better understanding of the supplies they have on hand. We are excited to continue to work on this project and give back to Kids-U!
Today marks another meeting as we continue to try and develop a great program for kids to be introduced to STEM. Our team continues to work hard. :)
This website is still under construction, pardon the mess!
