Tuition Estimates
Current and admitted students may obtain a Tuition Plan Estimate through the Galaxy portal. Under the UTD Student Center drop-down, click on Bursar Account > Tuition Estimate.
To obtain the estimate, students will need to populate the term of interest and the expected enrollment hours. If the term requiring the estimate will be the first semester at UT Dallas, please click on the “First Time at UT Dallas” field.
Click on the “Continue” button and a display of the estimated charges to expect will appear. An official PDF tuition estimate with the UT Dallas logo is available by clicking on the “Print Tuition Estimate” button. Please click on that button and print out your estimate.
Note: Students requiring an estimate must log in to the Galaxy portal to obtain their estimate. The Bursar Office does not create tuition estimates.
The tuition estimate is for tuition, most course related fees, meal plan charges, housing charges, parking permit charges and charges specific to international students. The estimate does not take into consideration any credits a student is expecting, such as scholarships or financial aid. The estimate is designed to provide the student with the approximate charges that will be reflected on their actual tuition statement, based on the data about you in the student system and the information you update in the estimate. If you would like an estimate that includes cost of attendance, the Financial Aid Office provides an online estimator.
Actual Tuition Statements
Actual tuition statements are only available after the student is registered into classes and after the tuition charges are available for that term. Students may expect to see their actual tuition charges at the following time frames for each term:
- Fall charges are available beginning mid-July
- Spring charges are available at the beginning of December
- Summer charges are available at the beginning of May
Tuition Statements are available through the Galaxy portal. Under the UTD Student Center drop-down, click on Bursar Account > Account Statement. Please choose the term and then click on “View Account Detail.” This will open up the tuition statement for that term.
This statement is considered an official UT Dallas statement and includes the UT Dallas logo. Please print this statement out to submit to employers for reimbursement, provide a lender with an official tuition statement, or keep for your own official records.
Note: Students requiring a tuition statement must log in to the Galaxy portal to obtain their statement.
The Bursar Office does not print out tuition statements.
