The breadth of research being undertaken in the Department of Physics at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), and the great enthusiasm of the faculty to act as mentors, will enable REU Fellows to select from projects that are experimental, computational or theoretical in nature. Topics will include biophysics, computational physics, condensed matter physics, cosmology and gravity. REU Fellows will also attend seminars on different areas of physics, broadening their horizons.
