Congratulations, Spring 2024 Graduates!

In May, the Harry W. Bass Jr. School of Arts, Humanities, and Technology at the University of Texas at Dallas celebrated the academic achievements of more than 300 undergraduate and graduate students.

The Spring 2024 semester concluded with the doctoral hooding on May 10 and the commencement ceremony on May 14. A total of 282 bachelor’s, 38 master’s, and 14 doctoral degrees were awarded by the Bass School.

Hooding Highlights

UT Dallas celebrated the Spring 2024 Doctoral Hooding at the ATC Lecture Hall on May 10. During the hooding ceremony, Bass School doctoral candidates were adorned with their hoods by Dean Nils Roemer, their supervising professor.

A customary tradition involves the Supervising Professor hooding their doctoral candidate on stage alongside the Graduate Dean. In cases with a co-chair, they also have the option to participate in the hooding process.
