Hooding Highlights
UT Dallas celebrated the Spring 2024 Doctoral Hooding at the ATC Lecture Hall on May 10. During the hooding ceremony, Bass School doctoral candidates were adorned with their hoods by Dean Nils Roemer, their supervising professor.
A customary tradition involves the Supervising Professor hooding their doctoral candidate on stage alongside the Graduate Dean. In cases with a co-chair, they also have the option to participate in the hooding process.
