Get Involved on Campus as a Global Business Major

Join a student organization for global business students at UT Dallas and gain international awareness and cross-cultural understanding.

Undergraduate global business majors at the Jindal School can make friends, network with professionals who operate international enterprises and expand their knowledge and skills, all while having fun and being a part of a community.

Here are a few student organizations designed just for global business majors:

Collegiate World Affairs Council

The Collegiate World Affairs Council (CWAC), UT Dallas Chapter, is a student organization formed in January 2016 with the support and leadership of the parent organization, Collegiate World Affairs Council, DFW.

The mission of the UT Dallas chapter is to promote international awareness and cross-cultural understanding in the campus community by bringing speakers and lecturers who are experts on topics currently affecting the world. The organization further engages students by assembling a panel discussion a week or two after a lecture event to discuss and debate the topics that were introduced by the guest speaker(s). Volunteer and networking opportunities are also promoted to encourage student participation.

Global Business Organization

A priority of the Bachelor’s in Global Business program and the Master’s in International Management Studies programs is to provide students with the opportunity to develop and build leadership skills in and out of the classroom. The Global Business Organization, better known as the GBO, carries out this vision by creating volunteer activities, conferences and speaking events. Students who attend get to interact and network with the professional world. Follow the Global Business Organization Facebook page.
