Corporate Connections – BS in Business Administration

business administration undergraduate student networking at an event

Network with business professionals through corporate site visits, luncheons and mentoring.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program at UT Dallas connects students to the heart of the business community in the DFW metroplex.

Our program hosts an ongoing series of corporate site visits to learn about different companies and industries.

What companies have opened their doors to UT Dallas students?

  • Ben E. Keith – to learn about the food service and beverage distribution industry and the company’s inventory management and supply chain practices.
  • Mary Kay Corporation – to learn about its international businesses and operations in 35 countries.
  • Acme Brick – to learn about its upstream business and value-chain considerations, in addition to brick-making operations.
  • Tyler Technologies – to learn about software and technology services the company provides to court and judicial systems across the U.S.

Get involved with mentoring

Our program combines a mentoring component with a required internship. Students can work with a mentor whom they select either through our alumni base or at the firm where the student serves as an intern. This unique opportunity allows students to learn what mentoring is, and how to leverage the opportunity to work with a mentor into an internship or career opportunity.
